We are currently seeking a talented Fight Story Scriptwriter to join our remote team and craft compelling narratives centered on combat sports.

Position Overview

As a Fight Story Scriptwriter, you will combine thorough research with creative storytelling to develop original scripts based on the lives, rivalries, and historic matches of fighters in boxing, MMA, wrestling, and other combat sports. Your work will support digital content for YouTube and other media outlets, bringing true fight stories to life with emotional depth and factual accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on real-life fighters, rivalries, iconic matches, and historic fights across multiple combat sports.
• Identify unique, inspiring, and dramatic fight stories suitable for cinematic adaptation.
• Write well-structured, engaging scripts and narratives that balance factual accuracy with dramatic storytelling.
• Collaborate with producers and creative teams to refine scripts that align with production style and brand tone.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality scripts and research summaries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in scriptwriting, preferably in sports, documentary, or action-based content.
• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze real-life stories and extract key narrative elements.
• Deep knowledge of combat sports including boxing, MMA, wrestling, and understanding of fighter journeys, terminology, and culture.
• Experience working with YouTube creators, sports media outlets, or digital storytelling platforms.
• Educational background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Film, Sports Media, or related fields.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant work in sports or biographical storytelling.
• Excellent command of written English with strong storytelling and narrative-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
