Job Description:
The File Maintenance Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate pricing and signage throughout the store. This includes the computer input of Temporary Price Reduction (TPR) signs, advertisements, and unit pricing tags, as well as hanging these signs and tags in the appropriate locations. The role also involves verifying pricing accuracy of merchandise on shelves, printing various reports, and inputting invoices for price confirmation.

Essential Functions:


  • Accurately input TPR signs, ad signage, and unit pricing tags into the store’s computer system using a standard keyboard and 10-key pad.

  • Hang signage and pricing tags on shelves and displays in a timely and organized manner.

  • Utilize a handheld scanner/device to verify price accuracy of shelf merchandise.

  • Perform price file verification and resolve discrepancies between shelf tags and system pricing.

  • Input and review invoices for price accuracy and perform data verification as needed.

  • Print miscellaneous reports as required for pricing and inventory accuracy.

  • Use hands, arms, fingers, and legs for tasks including computer input, tagging, and shelf verification.

  • Must be able to lift 15 - 20lbs occasionally.
