• This position is for someone who is available and ready to work if someone should call in sick, or is taking a vacation or day off. Must have an open schedule.
• We are looking for someone that is reliable, organized and can fill-in when we call.
• Jobs are mainly East County-Rancho SD, Santee, La Mesa, El Cajon

Qualifications:

• Positive & caring demeanor
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the US
• Current negative TB test (or able to get one)
• Successful clearance of a fingerprinting & background check (WE CAN TELL YOU WHERE TO GET ONE)
• Registered with the state of California as a Home Care Aide (WE CAN SHOW YOU HOW)
• Licensed driver with insurance
• Must read, write & speak English
• Professional appearance
• Preferably 1-YEAR caregiving experience

Responsibilities:

Duties vary by client and may include but are not limited to activities of daily living, such as:

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping & laundry
• Engaging companionship
• Medication reminders
• Ambulatory assistance (Walking with client), transfers
• Transportation to appointments/errands
• Safety & Supervision
• Managing Dementia and Alzheimer's related behaviors for some clients
• Top-notch care requires arriving to and from assigned shifts on time
