Fill in General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to temp at our office 1-4 days a month with the possibility to go part time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while delivering comprehensive treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental terminology and software such as Open Dental.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

• Strong focus on patient care with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Proficiency in general dentistry practices and techniques.
• Experience or knowledge in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain safety standards in the dental office.
• Ability to perform oral surgery and endodontic procedures as needed.
• Knowledge of dental office operations and familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology to accurately document patient information.
