Film Editor & Sound Designer

Before anything else, you need to understand story, rhythm, emotion, humour, and timing.

Strong spoken and written English is important because you’ll be working closely with the Creative Director and Visual Lead. You need to understand the intention behind a scene, the reference behind a cut, and the feeling we’re trying to land.

We’re looking for someone who knows when to cut, when to hold, when to let silence work, and when the film still isn’t there yet.

The Role:

Ryelogic is building a high-end AI-native film team for cinematic brand work.

We’re hiring a Film Editor & Sound Designer to shape generated material into finished films that feel seamless, emotional, and cinema-level.

This role is not just about assembling clips. It’s about finding the film in the footage.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit films with strong control over pace, rhythm, emotion, and narrative flow.
• Seamlessly connect AI-generated clips into scenes that feel continuous and intentional.
• Solve AI footage limitations through cuts, transitions, compositing, timing, retiming, and visual fixes.
• Colour grade and finish projects to a premium cinematic standard.
• Build the sound of the film through music, ambience, silence, texture, impact, and detail.
• Work closely with the Creative Director and Visual Lead from rough structure to final delivery.
• Use AI tools where needed to support the edit, fill gaps, improve continuity, and elevate the final film.

What We Need:

• Commercial-level editing experience.
• Strong command of DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and the Adobe Suite.
• Good understanding of Higgsfield and AI-assisted video workflows.
• Strong compositing, visual design, colour grading, and finishing skills.
• Ability to join short AI-generated clips into seamless cinematic scenes.
• Strong sense of pacing, timing, humour, emotion, and story.
• Sound design instincts that support the feeling of the film.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Ability to understand, discuss, and align with a Creative Director’s vision.
• A reel that shows editorial judgment, not just good-looking footage.
