Film Students!! - Videographer/Editor/Performance Metrics

I am seeking a talented Videographer/Editor (with a focus on Performance Metrics and Engagement) to capture and deliver my content.

In March of 2024, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and March 10th of 2026 I had brain surgery that has given me renewed perspective on life and kicked me in the ass to start making things happen. This surgery saved my life and I am truly blessed to have a miraculous recovery. I will turn 54 in May and feel like my life is just starting. I now feel it is part of my life’s purpose to share my appreciation and inspire others…and also to offset some of the bullshit going on in the world.

I am a school teacher and I am out of work until mid April. I want to start a creative video series to share my interests and skills (starting with a show and tell of a custom home renovation I recently finished - it’s Awesome!)

The idea is to document cool things that I have been putting off and also to provide inspiration for those who are struggling - and how a positive attitude can directly influence outcomes and helps us persevere.

I am starting the pay low in hopes of finding someone that wants to be a part of something special but I will increase the pay as milestones are hit. This could be a great opportunity for a film student in Boston. I have one person on board, looking to add another. And I already have a great audience waiting in the wings (incredible, crazy 7th graders that will share videos with other grades and schools - this would compound viewership significantly). Let’s catch lightning in a bottle.
