Final Inspector and Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Final Inspection and Shipping and Receiving Clerk will perform and variety of functions at the end of the manufacturing process including final dimensional and other inspection, packing and shipping product.

An ideal candidate with have hands on experience with quality testing in a machining or manufacturing environment. Experience with precision gauges and measurement tools is preferred.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Approve finished products by confirming specifications through visual, dimensional and functional inspections using calibrated tools and equipment, including micrometers, calipers and indicators
• Develop, maintain and update inspection checklist, quality records and related documentation
• Update records in ERP system
• Perform follow-up actions for non-conforming products, including identification and segregation
• Test proper calibration of gages and measuring tools
• Preparation of inspection documentation and Certificates of Conformance
• Pack shipments with appropriate labels and routing
• Maintain shipping and receiving records and coordinate multiple carrier services (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
• Load and unload outgoing and incoming products on pallets
• Maintain finished goods inventory

• Experience in inspection in a manufacturing environment
• Tow motor operation
• Experience with calibrated tools and equipment
