Final Mile Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our transportation services. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Dispatcher will coordinate transportation activities, manage fleet operations, and maintain effective communication with drivers and clients.

Duties

• Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS)
• Monitor vehicle locations and provide real-time updates to drivers and clients.
• Communicate effectively with customers and drivers regarding schedules, route changes, and any issues that may arise during transit.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Manage documentation related to dispatching activities, including delivery confirmations and compliance records.
• Assist in resolving any logistical challenges that may occur during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet performance and provide reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or fleet management is preferred.
• Familiarity with transportation planning and supply chain processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interactions with team members and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
