FINAL MILE FREIGHT DISPATCHER

Full Time Dispatcher Mid Shift 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM Pay rate is $22+ DOE (depending on experience)

Duties include:

• Working as part of team to ensure freight orders are properly taken, entered, routed/dispatched, and delivered by drivers.
• Managing pick-ups throughout the day.
• Use of company software programs to manage daily activities of drivers.
• Ability to problem solve freight related obstacles and shipment details needed.
• Ability to negotiate service levels with carriers, customers, and drivers

Requirements:

• Experience in the logistics field.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• MSOffice required.
• Candidates must develop and maintain positive relationships with our customers, drivers, and fellow employees.
• Communicate positively in person, over the phone, and in electronic communications.
• Manage multi-tasking and flexibility.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment
• Experience working in the Transportation/Logistics industry
• Good business decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work with/lead other team members
