Job Summary
The Finance & Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s full accounting cycle, including payments, receivables, costing, and all financial transactions. The role requires strong hands-on experience with
Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory
, ensuring accurate financial records, efficient cash-flow management, and proper control over inventory-linked accounting.
The ideal candidate will also support system optimization by configuring and customizing Zoho applications to fit the company’s operational and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Operations

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including journals, expenses, and general ledger entries

Process and monitor
vendor payments
, bank transfers, cheques, and online payments

Follow up on
customer collections
and ensure timely receipt of outstanding balances

Maintain accurate records of
accounts payable and accounts receivable

Perform monthly account reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer, inventory)
Costing & Inventory Accounting
-
Handle
product costing
, landed costs, and margin analysis
-
Ensure correct synchronization between
Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books
-
Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, adjustments, and write-offs
-
Support pricing decisions by providing cost and profitability reports
Zoho Books & Zoho Inventory Management

Manage daily operations on
Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory

Ensure proper setup and maintenance of:

Chart of Accounts
-
Items & SKUs
-
Warehouses
-
Taxes (VAT compliant)
-
Customer & vendor profiles
-
Generate accurate financial and operational reports directly from Zoho
System Customization & Optimization (Huge Plus)

Customize Zoho Books & Inventory workflows to suit company processes

Configure custom fields, reports, automation rules, and approval flows

Support integration between Zoho apps and other business tools
-
Identify gaps and recommend system improvements to management
Compliance & Reporting
-
Ensure compliance with
UAE VAT regulations
-
Prepare VAT returns and supporting schedules
-
Assist auditors, consultants, and management with financial data
-
Maintain proper documentation for internal controls and audits
Cash Flow & Financial Support
-
Track and report on cash flow positions
-
Support management with financial insights, summaries, and forecasts
-
Assist in budgeting and expense control initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-
Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory
-
Minimum
3–5 years
experience in accounting / finance roles

Solid understanding of costing, inventory accounting, and transactions
-
Experience working with UAE-based companies and VAT regulations
Preferred / Advantage

Experience customizing Zoho applications (workflows, reports, automation)

Experience in FMCG, distribution, manufacturing, or trading companies

Knowledge of Zoho ecosystem (CRM, Analytics, People, etc.)

Ability to handle multi-warehouse or multi-location inventory setups
