Colorado Center for Dermatology & Skin Surgery is a growing, privately-owned dermatology practice seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to take full ownership of our financial operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both execution and improving systems—and wants to grow into a broader leadership position over time.
This role is ideal for someone who is ready to move beyond task-based work and take ownership of the numbers.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Manage Accounts Payable and vendor relationships
- Own month-end close and general ledger (Xero)
- Perform bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports
- Prepare and process payroll
- Handle sales tax filings
Reporting & Dashboard
- Own and maintain our internal financial dashboard
- Pull and validate data from EHR (Modernizing Medicine) and internal systems
- Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and reliable
- Identify discrepancies and trends over time
Process Improvement
- Streamline workflows and reduce manual processes
- Improve efficiency and reporting clarity
- Partner with leadership to strengthen financial operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of month-end close and reconciliations
- Experience owning financial processes (not just supporting)
- Proficiency in Xero (or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused
Preferred
- Healthcare or medical practice experience
- Experience in a small business environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
