Job Purpose – Accounts Executive
To support the organization’s financial operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, managing statutory compliance (GST, TDS), performing timely reconciliations, and ensuring efficient processing of vendor payments and insurance receivables. The role ensures financial accuracy, transparency, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the accounts department.
Job Responsibilities:
· GST Compliance: Prepare, review, and file monthly/quarterly GST returns and maintain proper documentation for audits.
· Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and company records.
· Tally Accounting: Maintain and update accounting transactions in Tally, including journal entries, ledgers, and adjustments.
· Petty Cash Management: Record, monitor, and reconcile petty cash expenses with proper supporting documents.
· Insurance Receivables: Track insurance claims and receivables, follow up with insurers, and ensure timely settlements.
· TDS Reconciliation: Reconcile TDS deductions, prepare TDS returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
· Vendor Payments: Verify vendor invoices, process payments, maintain vendor ledgers, and ensure timely disbursements.
· Financial Documentation: Maintain proper records, vouchers, and supporting documents for accounting and auditing purposes.
· Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders (vendors, insurers, auditors) for smooth financial operations.
