Finance & Accounts:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts; recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Coordinate audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
Import Management:
- Manage import operations including supplier coordination, documentation, customs clearance, and shipping logistics.
- Monitor and control import-related costs and timelines.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Maintain import records, contracts, and compliance with international trade regulations.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and mentor finance, accounts, and import staff.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities in finance and import functions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent (CA/ACCA preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance/accounts with import operations exposure.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
