Finance & Accounts Lead (Remote – Full-Time, Immediate Start)

Ali’s Academy, a fast-growing supplementary education provider supporting families across West London, is currently seeking a dedicated Finance & Accounts Lead to manage and oversee all financial operations remotely.

This is a full-time, work-from-home position suited to a highly organised and dependable individual who can take complete ownership of the accounts function.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, supervising payment processes, and ensuring accuracy across all accounting functions. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and regular reporting to senior management.

This position requires full professional commitment — we are specifically looking for someone who can focus solely on this role without other job or study commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial processes including payroll, invoicing, and fee tracking
• Manage tutor and staff payroll with accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor parent payments and handle childcare funding reconciliations
• Prepare invoices, process refunds, and maintain up-to-date financial records
• Respond to finance-related queries from parents and internal teams
• Maintain budgets, ledgers, and ensure proper documentation
• Produce regular financial reports and summaries for leadership
• Coordinate with Admin, HR, and Admissions teams for smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 2–3+ years of experience in accounts, finance, or bookkeeping
• Is highly proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting tools
• Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Communicates clearly and can confidently manage responsibilities independently
• Is well-organised and able to meet deadlines consistently
• Has familiarity with UK-based financial processes (preferred)
• Has a stable internet connection and a professional home workspace

Important Requirement:
This role requires full-time availability and complete focus. Candidates must not have other work, freelance, or study commitments.

Working Schedule

• Monday to Saturday
• Full-time hours (remote)

Compensation

• Probation - 3 months
• PKR 100,000 per month (based on experience)
