Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for Accounting of Retail Financial Division. Oversees the financial closing processes. Collaborates with the Financial Manager in the analysis of sales, collections, inventories, and accounts payable. Assures financial analysis and financial reports are accurate and timely prepared in conforming with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Internal Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

Responsibilities:

Registers that all transactions are posted in SAP/Automate. Informs and discrepancy and prepares adjustment entries as needed. Assures all revenues and expenses for brand are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.

Takes physical vehicles inventory at month end and prepares reconciliation. Assures that all vehicles are registered and available in Automate for sales process. Monthly for vehicles, quarterly sample for Parts and twice a year for fixed assets.

Observes annual physical parts inventory and coordinates with Parts Department any adjustment entry.

Revises "deal" sales documents package and complete/close in SAP/Automate. Advice on any missing information or document. Confirms delivery was made after proper approval was obtained.

Offset warranty collections with open claims in SAP/Automate.

Controls of Petty Cash. Prepares monthly reconciliation and replenishment request and submit for approval.

Prepares excise tax declaration, generates payment request, and submits to approval. One approved, register in SURI and SAP. Confirms aal units are declared and paid in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting. CPA or Master Degree in Business Administration preferred.

Minimum three (3) years of experience maintaining accounting records, financial information and completing account reconciliations including Cash, AR, Inventories, AP and Accruals. Proficient in collection procedures.

Knowledge of local municipal and state taxes including SUT regulations

Advanced computer knowledge (MS Office, SAP), mainly Excel a plus.

Bilingual (Spanish - English)

Ability to work under minimal supervision, time and priority management, strong analytical skills, process and detailed.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
