What This Role Is About
This is a hands-on finance internship designed to give you real-world exposure to company accounting and finance operations, not just textbook learning.
You will work closely with the finance team and gain practical experience in GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliations, bank transactions, and month-end closings. If you enjoy working with numbers and feel comfortable using Excel, you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Post and process accounting entries to ensure accurate recording of business transactions
- Manage accounts receivable, issue invoices, and perform bank reconciliations
- Update accounts payable and perform vendor reconciliations
- Assist in reviewing and verifying expenses
- Support GST and TDS-related activities under guidance
- Coordinate with clients for outstanding payments and invoice-related follow-ups
- Assist senior team members in monthly and yearly closing activities.
Requirements
- Graduate or final-year student in Commerce / Finance / Accounting
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic to good understanding of Accounting principles and journal entries
- Hands-on experience or academic exposure to Tally
- Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial data
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced SaaS environment
Preferred Skills
- Practical exposure to Tally for day-to-day accounting entries
- Strong working knowledge of MS Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Basic understanding of GST & TDS compliance
- Ability to maintain accurate records and perform reconciliations
- Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and clients
- Analytical mindset with accuracy and ownership
