Finance and Risk Manager

Job Summary:

Greer Industries, Inc. is seeking an individual for its Morgantown accounting office. This role will provide critical support to both the operational and financial departments of Greer Industries and affiliated companies. This person will report directly to CFOand will get to contribute to a variety of functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

NetSuite Optimization:

· Utilize NetSuite to identify and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide analysis on these items to help measure the performance of various business units and functions

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

· Provide detailed analysis on costs and revenues for Greer Industries and affiliated companies

· Assist with the preparation of Internal and Management Reporting

· Work to ensure GAAP compliance

· Assist with support for all external audits

· Assist with the preparation of Board Meeting minutes and documentation of corporate actions

Treasury Management:

· Manage Covenant Reporting and Compliance – External Reporting

· Review/Organize Financing Agreements

· Oversee specialized areas including BBL Fleet Management for the company

Taxation & Risk Management:

· Manage tax provisions and organize data for annual return preparation (completed by an external CPA firm)

· Work with the CFO to review prepared tax returns for accuracy and compliance

· Oversee and execute property tax filings

· Assist with commercial insurance renewal processes and maintain general risk management oversight

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree – Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting
• Prior Tax Experience Required
• Experience working with the ERP system NetSuite preferred
• Understanding of GAAP and financial statements

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Commensurate with experience

• Office

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Morgantown, WV 26508: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
