Position: Finance Audit Executive

Location: Karachi

Employment Type: Full‑Time, On‑Site

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Finance Audit Executive with solid experience (3‑5 years) in auditing/finance, preferably from the services industry. The successful candidate will assist the internal audit function to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and conducting internal financial and operational audits across departments.
• Review financial records, ledgers, and transaction flows to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate existing controls; identify weaknesses and risk exposure, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit working papers, documentation, and reports clearly detailing findings and suggested corrective actions.
• Support follow‑up processes to ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and other teams to gather required data for audits.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in or assist external audit requests as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in internal or external audit, preferably in the services sector.
• Good understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment, and financial / operational audit practices.• Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiar with audit / accounting software preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with regulatory / compliance requirements specific to Pakistan.
• Experience with or understanding of service industry processes (e.g. consulting, logistics, civil engineering, hospitality, etc.).
• Prior exposure to both financial and operational audits.
• Ability to present findings to management and suggest process improvements.
