**This role will be performed on-site in the Des Moines, Iowa corporate office**
Essential Functions:
Collects, analyzes, and visualizes data using tools such as Power BI, Workday, or equivalent platforms.
Creates interactive dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborates with business functions to understand their data needs and translate them into effective analytical solutions.
Determines stakeholders’ objectives, important metrics, and method of performance management.
Integrates data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Develops and maintains data models and schemas to support reporting and analysis. Identifies and addresses data quality issues to maintain data integrity.
Utilizes SQL to query and transform data efficiently.
Develops, maintains, and enhances standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
Monitors the performance of reports and dashboards, optimizing them for efficiency.
Provides training and support to end-users, enabling self-service capabilities.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to define and assist with intake requests.
Provides timely and relevant data-driven insights to support strategic decision making.
Maintains documentation of all processes and inventory of work assignments.
Performs cross training as needed to enhance team capabilities.
Explores and recommends best practices in reporting, analysis, and BI techniques.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, data analytics, MIS, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Two years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong skills in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik, with the ability to create effective reports and dashboards
Basic understanding of data management, data modeling, and data integration concepts
Familiarity with financial concepts and basic financial data analysis
Good skills in Microsoft applications, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to work with SQL for data querying and basic transformations.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong investigative and problem-solving abilities
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either of the following:
$64,823 - $89,327 or $71,452 - $98,488
A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
