Job Purpose:
Supports and guides the company’s financial strategy within the defense sector, with a focus on financial planning, modeling, and performance monitoring. The role ensures alignment of departmental goals with organizational objectives, strengthens bidding processes, and enhances profitability, efficiency, and compliance. The consultant provides clear financial insights to leadership and contributes to effective resource allocation and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental Financial Consultation

Provide expert financial guidance to all departments, helping them align their financial goals with the overall organizational strategy.

Assist in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure optimal resource allocation across departments.
Financial Modeling

Develop, analyze, and maintain complex financial models to assess business performance and support strategic decision-making.

Design financial projections, forecasts, and budgeting models that align with the company’s goals.
Financial Reporting

Prepare detailed and accurate financial reports, ensuring timely and effective communication of financial performance to stakeholders.

Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to help improve business performance.
Financial Monitoring

Continuously monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improvements in key financial areas, including profitability, cost control, and resource allocation.

Track financial metrics, KPIs, and variances to ensure financial goals are being met.
Bidding Process Participation

Actively participate in the company’s new bidding process, offering financial expertise to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Develop financial models to support new bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial objectives.
Cash Flow Management

Develop and maintain cash flow models to ensure proper liquidity and financial stability for the company.

Provide recommendations to improve cash flow management, working capital, and cash reserves.
Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with business objectives.
