Finance Controller

FINANCE CONTROLLER

To provide strong financial governance, performance visibility, and capital efficiency oversight across all business units, enabling informed decision-making at the BOD level. Key Responsibilities

Lead combined budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs actual reviews across business units

Analyse unit-level profitability, margins, working capital, and contribution to group performance

Track capital deployed by unit and evaluate returns, including ROE/ROCE and cost of capital considerations

Investment appraisal, restructuring, and exit-related financial analysis

Identify financial risks, cash flow pressures, and early warning indicators

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of financial data used for performance reviews and decisions

Coordinate with auditors, advisors, and internal teams on financial governance matters

Key Skills & Capabilities

•Strong financial analysis and commercial judgment

•Understanding of capital structure, returns, and investment evaluation

Ability to interpret numbers into business insights

Structured reporting and review discipline

Ability to work with incomplete or evolving ERP environments

Experience, Qualifications & Salary

5-8 years of relevant experience

Chartered Accountant/CMA/MBA (Finance) preferred

Experience across multi-entity, trading, retail, or asset-based businesses

• Prior exposure to group finance, FP&A, or CFO office roles preferred

Timeliness and quality of combined budgets and MIS

• Accuracy and clarity of financial performance analysis

Improvement in predictability of financial outcomes

• Enhanced visibility of capital efficiency and returns

• Reduction in financial surprises and unplanned escalations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
