Finance Controller

ROLE

The Finance Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and budgeting processes. The position will report to the President of ProbioFerm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Priorities

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company meets its obligations.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance of the company.
• Collaborate with all departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Leadership

• Understand company operations and coordinate resources with all departments.
• Provide training and support to employees regarding financial transactions, processes, and systems.

Communication

• Communicate financial performance and strategies to the president and owners.
• Work with insurance, banking institutions, and any other regulatory parties.

Decision making/Problem solving

• Able to assess options and opportunities while selecting the best course of action.
• Develop strategies to optimize working capital and reduce financial risk.

DAILY DUTIES

• Overall organization accounting functions including AR/AP, Banking, and other company financial matters.
• Financial statement preparation- monthly and annual and year-end tax reporting
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Fixed asset/depreciation schedule maintenance
• 401K contributions and annual year-end reporting for TPA testing
• Respond to customer inquiries and/or questions regarding invoices and payments.
• Credit application preparation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
