About the position:
Reporting as the
most senior finance executive for the US region
, the Finance Director will lead all finance activities for the
US manufacturing business,
act as a strategic partner to the US leadership, and collaborate closely with the Group CFO and European headquarters. The role requires a finance leader who can manage
multiple sites
, present the
US business externally when needed (e.g., banks/investors)
, and navigate an environment with potential future strategic transactions.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the US finance agenda
end-to-end
: Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Treasury/Cash, Tax & Compliance, Internal Controls, Audit readiness.

Lead, build, and mentor
a high-performing, business-partnering finance team across the US; enable effective
remote leadership
and site support.

Partner with US regional leadership
on growth, pricing, capacity, and margin expansion; provide clear performance insights and decision support.

Plan & forecast
: drive robust monthly/quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and multi-year plans aligned with Group requirements.

M&A/Transactions
: support due diligence, valuation inputs, synergy modeling, and
post-merger integration
as relevant.

External stakeholder management
: when requested,
present the US business
to banks, auditors, and— if appropriate—potential investors.

Reporting & governance
: ensure timely, accurate US GAAP/Group reporting; maintain strong controls and compliance culture in line with Group standards.

Systems & process improvement
: streamline processes, strengthen data quality, and harmonize KPIs across sites.
Preconditions:

Proven senior finance leadership
experience in
multi-site manufacturing
within the US, covering Accounting, Controlling/FP&A, and Cash/Treasury.

Transaction/M&A exposure
(buy-side, sell-side, integration) and comfort operating in an environment preparing for potential strategic options.

Demonstrated ability to
lead remotely
and influence across plants, functions, and cultures; excellent executive presence to
represent the US business
externally when requested.

Strong command of US GAAP, compliance, internal controls, and audit/auditor management; advanced FP&A skills.

Outstanding communication skills and the ability to
collaborate
closely with Group HQ in Europe
and the
US regional leadership
