Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support daily financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will manage accounts payable/receivable functions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely financial reporting while assisting with VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and credit card transactions.
  • Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments for timely submission of invoices and supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local accounting regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide financial data, analysis, and insights to support operational decision-making.
  • Support basic VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) compliance activities when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom).
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) and CMA (Certified Management Accountant) qualifications are preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the Event industry.
  • Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
