Job Title: Accounts Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage and maintain accurate financial records and support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting records, ledgers, and financial documentation.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Verify invoices, payments, and employee expense claims for accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Maintain the general ledger and perform regular bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure proper accounting records and supporting documentation are maintained.
  • Work with MS Excel and basic accounting tools to prepare reports and reconciliations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding financial matters.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Working knowledge of VAT calculation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
