Founded in 2016 to address a clear gap in Pakistan's online grocery space, we transitioned in 2019 from a middleman, store-based model to a fully owned fulfillment-led model. Today we deliver groceries, baby products, meats, and fresh produce from our own fulfillment centers, in as little as two hours.
Role Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts professional to oversee day-to-day accounting and cash operations at our fulfillment center, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely vendor and payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse accounting functions and ensure daily cash closing.
- Manage data entry in ZOHO ERP across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Process supplier and vendor payments on a daily basis.
- Prepare the fulfillment center's daily cash utilization sheet.
- Prepare and process payroll.
- Oversee petty expenses and service vendor payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit monthly withholding tax challans.
- Ensure Federal and Provincial Sales Tax compliance.
- Ensure compliance with corporate filing requirements.
- Liaise with local banks, auditors, and corporate and tax consultants.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable function.
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; a professional qualification (or working towards one) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or ZOHO.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, diligent and reliable.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
