Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager

Sheridan Motors CDJR GMC is looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented F&I Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing the finance and insurance process, working with lenders, presenting products, ensuring compliance, and helping deliver a professional and efficient customer experience.

We are seeking someone who is organized, customer-focused, and confident working deals from approval through delivery. The ideal candidate has automotive F&I experience, strong lender relationships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with both the sales team and management. This position will also include backup Sales Manager duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full F&I process from deal structure through final paperwork and delivery
  • Work with banks, credit unions, and lending partners to secure financing approvals
  • Present finance, insurance, warranty, protection, and aftermarket products to customers
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, compliant, and submitted in a timely manner
  • Review deals for proper documentation, signatures, disclosures, and funding requirements
  • Maintain strong knowledge of lender programs, manufacturer incentives, and compliance standards
  • Work closely with the sales team to help structure deals and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Support sales management with desking deals, appraisals, pricing, and showroom activity as needed
  • Back up Sales Manager duties as needed to support daily dealership operations
  • Help train and coach sales consultants on proper deal flow, paperwork, follow-up, and customer handoff
  • Maintain a professional, customer-first approach throughout the sales and finance process
  • Follow dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and all applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Automotive F&I experience preferred
  • Sales management or desking experience is a huge plus
  • Strong understanding of lender programs, approvals, deal structure, and funding requirements
  • Ability to present F&I products professionally and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work well with customers, sales staff, lenders, and dealership management
  • Proven ability to meet goals and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
