Finance Intern

Wheels AHOY is seeking for a detail-oriented Accounts Intern to support our Accounts Department with bill entry and basic accounting activities. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates seeking practical exposure in accounting and finance operations.

General Finance and Accounting

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.

• Record, store, and/or analyse information using property software.

• Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.

• Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.

• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.

• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.

• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.

• Enter supplier invoices and bills accurately into the accounting system

· Verify bills against purchase orders, GRNs, and supporting documents

· Assist in maintaining vendor ledgers and expense records

· Check mathematical accuracy, tax details (VAT), and approvals on invoices
