Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our heavy equipment rental business in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, compliance, and reporting, ensuring effective financial management aligned with the company’s operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models specific to equipment rental operations.
- Analyze rental revenues, equipment utilization rates, and ROI for capital investments.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and cost control reports to senior management.
- Track KPIs relevant to rental performance, fleet costs, and operational efficiency.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Ensure optimal financing of the rental fleet through loans, leasing, or internal funding.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure timely payments and collections.
4. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT filings and audits.
- Liaise with external auditors, government authorities, and financial institutions.
- Maintain updated knowledge of local financial laws and industry standards.
5. Cost Control & Asset Management
- Oversee cost accounting and internal controls to monitor operational costs.
- Support procurement and fleet management teams in cost-effective equipment acquisition.
- Ensure proper accounting and depreciation of fixed assets.
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Coordinate with other departments (Operations, Sales, Procurement) to align financial strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
- Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in the equipment rental or construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws and local compliance requirements.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or rental-specific software).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in managing a diverse fleet of heavy equipment and understanding equipment lifecycle costing.
- Familiarity with financial aspects of contracts, tenders, and credit control in the UAE.
- Bilingual (English and Hindi) is an advantage.
