Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts for projects and overall business operations.
- Implement strong cost control measures, monitoring project costs against budgets.
- Manage cash flow, receivables, and payables to ensure financial stability.
- Handle contract financial management, including progress billings, retention, variations, and claims.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Procurement teams to align financial planning with project execution.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders for financial matters.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on financial planning, investment, and risk management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- Experience in construction or landscape industry.
- Strong knowledge of project-based accounting and cost control.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software
