The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of our sweepstakes casino division, ensuring accurate reporting, strict compliance with regulations, and efficient resource management. This role is pivotal in maintaining fiscal integrity while supporting business growth in a fast-paced, technology-driven industry. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in igaming or high-stakes industries, capable of navigating complex regulatory environments and leveraging data analytics for strategic decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and/or review daily revenue reconciliations for all sweepstakes products
  • Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, or variance analyses related to sweepstakes-specific operations.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies or external regulations, collaborate with internal audit, and prepare for external regulatory reviews and third-party audits.
  • Implement and maintain controls to mitigate financial risks, including fraud detection in player transactions, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and responsible social gaming safeguards.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate financial systems with gaming software (e.g., RNG certification, payment gateways), and analyze KPIs such as player retention, RTP (Return to Player), and house edge metrics.
  • Supervise a team of accountants and analysts, providing guidance on industry-specific financial practices and fostering a culture of accuracy and innovation.
  • Oversee relationships with payment processors, software providers, and affiliate networks, ensuring cost-effective contracts and timely payments.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, with at least 3 years in the gaming, iGaming, or entertainment industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
  • Proficiency in financial software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets from player behavior and transaction logs.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and presenting to stakeholders.
