Job Title: Finance Manager – FMCG Distribution (UAE)

About Us

We are a fast-growing FMCG distribution group in the UAE, handling a diverse portfolio of international and regional brands across modern trade, e-commerce, HORECA, and traditional retail channels. With a rapidly expanding network and strong market presence, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance function and support our next phase of growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Analyze P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Monitor gross margins, trade spend, marketing budgets, and SKU-wise profitability.

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, Excise, and statutory audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate books under IFRS and oversee external auditors.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Manage cash flow planning, collections follow-ups, supplier payments, and inventory financing.
• Optimize working capital by controlling receivables, payables, stock cover, and credit limits.
• Maintain strong banking relationships for credit facilities, LC/TR, etc.

Operational Finance (FMCG-Specific)

• Monitor trade promotions, rebates, co-op agreements, and customer claims.
• Validate pricing, discounts, marketing investments, and unit economics across channels.
• Support supply chain and sales teams with costing, landed cost calculations, and FEFO/stock reconciliation.

ERP & Process Improvement

• Oversee finance modules in Odoo / ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and SOP compliance.
• Improve internal controls, automate reporting, and streamline finance processes.
• Implement periodic MIS reporting dashboards for management.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead and guide the finance team including accountants, credit controllers, and collections staff.
• Establish KPIs for finance team performance and organizational financial discipline.
• Advise management on financial strategy, growth planning, and risk mitigation.

RequirementsEducation & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA is preferred.
• 5–10 years of finance experience, including at least 3+ years in FMCG distribution or trading in the UAE.
• Strong command of IFRS, VAT/TAX compliance, and financial modeling.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, power queries, financial modeling).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and process discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
