About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong exposure to the manufacturing and trading industries. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in IGAAP, Tally ERP, GST, TDS, and audit coordination, along with the ability to lead and develop a finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust statutory compliance, process improvement, and providing financial insights to support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in Tally with accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IGAAP.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of books, including account reconciliations.
- Manage general ledger, cash flow statements, P&L, and balance sheet preparation.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Oversee tax computations, payments, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated with taxation laws, GST regulations, and compliance amendments.
3. Audit Management
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits end-to-end.
- Liaise with external auditors, resolve audit queries, and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Implement audit recommendations to enhance financial controls and processes.
4. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of accounting and finance executives.
- Monitor team performance to ensure accuracy and timeliness in deliverables.
- Promote process discipline and operational excellence within the finance function.
5. Manufacturing & Trading Finance
- Monitor product costing, inventory accounting, and production-related financial controls.
- Manage vendor payments, accounts receivables, credit control, and working capital.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and conduct variance analysis for management review.
6. Process Improvement
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in accounting and reporting processes.
- Strengthen internal controls and implement financial best practices.
Requirements-
- 8–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably within manufacturing and trading industries.
- Strong knowledge of IGAAP, Tally ERP, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in handling audits and coordinating with external auditors.
- Mandatory team management experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Qualification-
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance
