As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead and strengthen our financial and commercial function that supports strategic decision making and long-term growth.
Role Summary
The Finance Manger will be a senior leadership figure responsible for overseeing all financial, commercial and analytical aspects of the business. This includes managing cashflow, budgeting, forecasting, commercial performance analysis, financial planning and reporting, and partnering with leadership to drive business performance. The successful candidate will combine strong technical financial expertise with commercial awareness and strategic insight to influence and support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Financial Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business goals and growth plans.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long term financial planning processes.
Provide commercial insight and financial modelling to support pricing strategies and profitability analysis.
Cashflow and Financial Analysis
Monitor and manage cashflow to ensure liquidity and effective working capital management.
Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including scenario modelling, risk assessments and variance analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Reporting and Compliance
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards and insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial standards and regulatory requirements.
Commercial Leadership
Provide commercial finance support across business units with clear interpretation of results and actionable recommendations.
Partner with business leaders to assess commercial opportunities, investment proposals and pricing models.
Team Leadership and Culture
Lead, develop and mentor the finance team to maintain high performance and foster professional growth.
Build collaborative relationships across functions to drive a data-driven and commercially informed culture.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent are preferred.
Substantial experience (typically 10+ years) in senior finance roles with demonstrable experience in financial leadership, financial planning and analysis and cashflow management.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in commercial finance, pricing analysis and business partnering in the construction industry.
Proven ability to interpret complex financial data into clear insights for decision making.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging at senior leadership level.
Advanced capability with financial software and tools (ERP systems, FP&A platforms and Excel models).
