We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support leadership with financial control, capital allocation, and decision-making. This is a senior, commercially focused role and not a transactional accounting position.
Role Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that company capital is allocated effectively, underperforming initiatives are identified early, and financial decisions are supported by clear analysis and evidence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Control & Capital Allocation

Review and analyse company spend across hires, tools, initiatives, and service lines

Identify underperforming or inefficient expenditure and recommend corrective action

Advise leadership on capital allocation decisions across growth, delivery, and cash preservation

Support decisions related to scaling, pausing, or discontinuing initiatives based on performance
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Management

Maintain clear visibility over cash flow, burn rate, and runway

Develop and manage budgets and forecasts appropriate for a lean, growth-stage business

Monitor actuals vs forecasts and highlight risks or deviations early

Ensure financial information is structured to support fast, informed decision-making
Commercial & Unit Economics Analysis

Analyse unit economics across TopBoffin’s service offerings

Support pricing, margin, and profitability analysis

Provide financial input into cost structures, delivery models, and service design

Assess commercial viability of new initiatives or changes to existing services
Strategic Advisory & Decision Support

Act as a senior financial advisor to founders and leadership

Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations on proposed investments

Challenge assumptions and financial rationale where required

Present financial insights in clear, commercially grounded language
UK & Pakistan Market and Compliance Oversight

Ensure financial planning aligns with UK and Pakistan commercial and regulatory expectations

Advise on implications of UK and Pakistan accounting, tax, and compliance considerations

Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, or advisors in the UK and Pakistan where required

Ensure financial governance is appropriate without introducing unnecessary complexity
Must-Have Requirements

3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, financial management, FP&A, or commercial finance roles

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for a services-based or growth-stage business

Strong hands-on financial modelling and analytical skills

Practical understanding of accounting standards (IFRS)

Working knowledge of UK and Pakistan taxation and regulatory considerations

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
-
Ability to interpret financial data and support leadership decision-making
-
Strong attention to detail with a commercially minded approach

Clear communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
