Responsibilities
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities. Your key duties will include:
* Managing and overseeing the company's daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
* Preparing and presenting accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
* Developing and managing financial budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
* Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
* Ensuring compliance with all accounting policies, financial regulations, and relevant legislation.
* Managing cash flow, including forecasting and liquidity management, to ensure the business operates efficiently.
* Liaising with external auditors and managing the annual audit process.
* Continuously improving financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Overseeing payroll administration and ensuring all related statutory obligations are met.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. Key qualifications include:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior financial role.
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial standards, and corporate finance concepts.
* Proficiency in financial management software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
* Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
* A high level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
