Finance Manager / Assistant Finance manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Payroll and Compliance Specialist to manage and ensure compliance with Central and State Government policies related to payroll, taxation, and accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of legislation including the Minimum Wages Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, Bonus Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other relevant regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally, and other payroll and accounting software is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Stay updated with Central and State Government policies and ensure adherence to the Minimum Wages Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, Bonus Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other relevant regulations.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee and process payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, and compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Invoicing: Prepare and manage invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • EPF and ESI Compliance: Handle Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) contributions and compliance.
  • Taxation: Manage GST, TDS, and Income Tax computations and submissions.
  • Payables and Receivables: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure proper management of financial transactions.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Conduct Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Audit Coordination: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • MIS Reports: Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports for financial analysis and decision-making.
  • General Accounting: Handle general accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or CPA are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management, compliance, and accounting. Experience in handling statutory compliance is essential.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally, and other payroll and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of Central and State Government policies related to payroll and taxation.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
