We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Finance Manager / Salesperson to play a dual role in our dealership. This hybrid position is split approximately 50% Finance & Insurance (F&I) and 50% Sales.
You will help customers finance and purchase boats, UTVs, ATVs, motorcycles, and watercraft while also closing sales on the floor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the excitement of sales and the detail-oriented work of structuring deals and selling protection products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Duties (Approximately 50%):
- Deliver outstanding customer service and guide customers through the buying process for new and used boats, Kawasaki powersports vehicles, and trailers.
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge of our full lineup through training and hands-on experience.
- Appraise trade-ins, manage customer follow-up (walk-ins and online leads), and close sales.
- Assist with dealership presentation, including unit detailing, inventory placement, and facility organization.
- Participate in boat shows, on-water demos, and promotional events as needed.
Finance & Insurance Duties (Approximately 50%):
- Complete all sales paperwork, title work, registrations, and lender submissions.
- Work with multiple banks and finance companies to secure competitive financing options for customers.
- Present and sell extended warranties, service contracts, gap insurance, paint & fabric protection, and other aftercare products.
- Explain financing terms and product benefits clearly to build trust and add value to every deal.
- Ensure timely funding of all deals while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to maximize profitability and create a smooth customer handover.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in sales, finance, or F&I in automotive, marine, powersports, or RV is preferred.
- Strong closing skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and paperwork skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, lenders, and financing programs.
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Willingness to learn — we will provide training on products, financing, and dealership processes.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
