The Finance Manager serves as the senior financial leader for the Turf business, providing end‑to‑end financial leadership while acting as a trusted partner to operational and divisional leaders. This role blends strategic insight with hands‑on execution, owning financial planning, reporting, costing, and core accounting operations to drive strong business performance. As a key member of the leadership team, the Finance Manager influences decision‑making, develops talent, and continuously improves finance processes and systems to support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering accountability, strong controls, and professional growth.
  • Serve as the primary financial partner to functional leaders, providing insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Oversee month‑end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control standards.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes across revenue, manufacturing costs, and SG&A.
  • Analyze sales performance, pricing, mix, volume, and margins to drive actionable business insights.
  • Manage product and project costing, partnering with operations to improve data accuracy and decision‑making.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales & Use Tax processes.
  • Support productivity initiatives, capital ROI evaluations, and cost‑reduction efforts.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, reporting, and process automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including manufacturing accounting.
  • 7+ years of ERP systems experience.
  • Prior people management or supervisory experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
  • Strong forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling experience.


What Makes You Stand Out

  • MBA or CPA
  • Prior experience as a plant controller in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite, SAP, BW, OneStream, or similar ERP systems.
  • CPA or MBA credentials.
  • Track record of driving process improvements, automation, and scalable finance solutions.
  • Ability to operate seamlessly between office and plant environments.
