Finance Officer

Are you an experienced school finance professional looking for your next opportunity? We are urgently seeking a Temporary School Finance Officer to support a busy secondary school in Tunbridge Wells.

About the Role:

You'll be joining a dedicated team to manage and support the school's financial operations. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and bring prior experience from a school finance office.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day financial transactions
• Processing invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Supporting budget monitoring and reporting
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
• Ensuring compliance with school financial policies and procedures

? Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school finance office is essential
• Strong understanding of school finance systems and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Immediate availability preferred

Contract Details:

• Temporary position
• Full-time hours preferred (Monday to Friday), but part-time or flexible arrangements will be considered
• Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
