ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to growth an opportunity is available for an experienced commercially focussed, hands on finance professional to support our Financial Controller and join our finance team and make a difference.

This role is pivotal to our finance department, primarily managing the accounts payable and receivables process within the business. In addition to managing the workflow and ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner, you will also be providing administration support to the Financial Controller.

You will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day management and support of the accounts payable and receivables operations of the organisation.

• Processing invoices

• Assist in the Risk & Asset management.

• Providing quality customer service to our clients

• Support and foster the positive team culture, engage in L&D and continuous improvement.

• Develop an in-depth knowledge of our services and processes.

• Assist in the resolution of any financial issues raised by any of suppliers, external parties, and our internal team.

• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters as a support to the Financial Controller.

• Supporting the Financial Controller and leadership team with team projects and tasks when required

• General administration support to the Financial Controller and the finance team.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an innovative Accounting and Finance professional who is invigorated and driven by processes, continuous improvement and optimising operations. Not scared to step in and help out the team to share the load and get things done.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

• Proven commercial acumen

• Accounts receivables & payables management

• Business / Accounting qualifications

• Advanced computer skills, Xero (mandatory), MS Office Suite, Aroflo (desirable)

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Effective writing and communication skills

• Ability to prioritise and address tasks efficiently

• Ability to manage workload under pressure
