Position: Finance Specialist

My Business Consulting DMCC is a corporate services firm, headquartered in Dubai, UAE. The company specializes in designing and developing bespoke solutions for Business Setup, Immigration Support, Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, Tax Compliance and Second Citizenship programs.

Part of the determined expansion of My Business Consulting DMCC, we are looking for Finance Specialists with proven records of UAE and International experience in corporate services.

Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years’ work experience in same field as My Business Consulting DMCC – please check our website to know the services we are offering.
  • Proficiency in oral and written ​English ​language​ is mandatory​;
  • ACCA or CA or CPA qualification, and any other relevant certifications
  • Advanced computer user;
  • Smart professional appearance at all times.
  • Highly independent, can work under pressure and dedicated toward his/her responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

  • Maintain all accounts of assigned clients of My Business Consulting DMCC.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
  • Reconcile various GL accounts (i.e. bank accounts, accruals, prepaid assets, etc.) by month-end and year-end, ensuring accurate and timely closing of account books.
  • Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
  • Execute tasks related to VAT , audit & technical compliance queries whether raised internally and through the client and providing client feedback on their internal controls, policies and procedures related to finance function.
  • Keeping track of statutory compliances such as VAT return and annual return filings for the clients.
  • Managing & filing Corporate Tax.
  • Handle external audit & liquidation assignments for the clients.
  • Execute tasks related to End of Service settlements, calculations, and related to UAE Labor Law.
  • Reviewing & analyzing monthly, quarterly, and yearly management & financial reports including income statement, statement of financial position, statement of cash flows, statement of changes in equity.
  • Developing expenditures and revenue forecasts; preparing baseline budgets and revisions as needed; analyzing and processing budget proposals; reconciling the budget by actual spending.
  • Manage oversee, and act as backup for processing all the following transactions: payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue & expense, fixed assets, cash, bank transactions, and all other allocations.
  • Coordinate with the team on accounting standards and how to properly book various transactions.
  • Review, investigate & correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents & reports and ensuring the year-end audit of MBC is completed on time as per the International Financial Reporting Standard and submitted to DMCC.
  • Providing financial analysis & reports as needed for areas such as dividend distributions, pricing decisions & contract negotiations.
  • Meeting with potential clients to determine how to meet their financial accounting & taxation requirements and finalizing the scope of work to be performed and price to be charged.
  • Reviewing tax returns and associated working papers prepared by tax staff and provide timely, specific, and meaningful feedback and submitting the return to FTA.
  • Performing, managing & reviewing the Audit, Liquidation, Vat & Bookkeeping assignments, and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Dealing with the auditors & other channel partners to smoothen the process of reporting and ensuring the standard of work is not compromised at any stage or during any process.
  • Reviewing the accounting & bookkeeping contacts, helping sales team in answering technical questions through email and face to face meeting to suffice their needs and requirements.
  • Responsible to do one off assignments like business valuation, feasibility studies & financial projections for clients.
  • Acting as first point of contact for compliance concerns and reviewing the screening of prospective clients & payments.
  • Performing Anti Money Laundering (AML) assignments like registration of the companies on GoAml portal & submission of information to authorities for Targeted Financial Sanctions (TFS) frameworks.
  • Managing the GoAml portal of My Business Consulting DMCC giving feedback to authorities and responding to their queries, as necessary.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on labor law compliance matters, calculating end of service benefits.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for compliance concerns, screening prospective clients & payments
  • Ensuring compliance to statutes by implementing Anti Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), & Targeted Financial Sanctions (TFS) frameworks, procedures, and policies.
  • Managing the GoAML portal of My Business Consulting DMCC giving feedback to authorities and responding to their queries, as necessary.
  • Ensure that software technology is in place to adequately provide oversight and monitoring in all required compliance areas.
  • Preparing and delivering training programs and plans for employees on anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and unlawful organizations.
  • Executing World Check Review for all individual and corporate entities before onboarding and ongoing basis for all the existing clients if required.
  • Performing enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients and making decisions / recommendations based on analysis.
  • Review of Source of Funds, Source of Wealth, and KYC for all the clients before on boarding and ongoing basis
  • Discuss and resolve with various personnel in each department the best, fastest and most effective solution for every client’s requirements, situation and requests.
  • Ensure the correct services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to direct manager.
  • Analysis and identification of upcoming corporate needs and opportunities of every clients.
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints.
  • Ensure that any information and documentation recorded in the Project Management System PMS (company’s CRM software) for all new updates of each existing/ new client are correct and completely uploaded in the Shared Folder and PMS with proper coordination with Database Controller.
  • Daily update of request in the PMS to help Marketing Department secure a correct analysis of responses from all Marketing outlets.
  • Provide the Marketing department with relevant information/updates/news, adhering to the Media policy of the company and promoting the company on all social media.
  • Promote a healthy business atmosphere between all company suppliers.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with management, team members and possible use in future case studies or company training.
  • Keep up to date with any relevant information relating to the job description.
  • Show initiation and actively take actions to promote MBC services to existing, new or potential clients.
  • Cooperate and support any team member of My Business Consulting DMCC (whenever it is required) to ensure the goals of the company and clients’ needs are met, and for sharing knowledge and training whenever required.
  • Promote highly positive and efficient teamwork, coordination and cooperation with the whole team of My Business Consulting DMCC.
