Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance and Accounts Specialist located at Portsaid Port Police Department. The specialist will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include performing budget analysis, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, and providing financial insights to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Financial Reporting, Budget Analysis, and Compliance with financial regulations
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll Processing
• Experience with Accounting Software, Data Entry Accuracy, and Bank Reconciliation
• Strong Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
• Prior experience in the maritime or shipping industry is an advantage
