Financial Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant with strong working knowledge of accounting practices across multinational regions of Pakistan , the United Kingdom , and the United Arab Emirates . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multi-jurisdictional financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for Pakistan, UK, and UAE entities
• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (FBR – Pakistan, HMRC – UK, and UAE VAT laws)
• Handle VAT filings (UK & UAE) and corporate tax matters where applicable
• Support payroll processing and statutory deductions across jurisdictions
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow across entities
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA preferred)
• 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-country environment
• Strong knowledge of:   - Pakistan tax laws and compliance (FBR)   - UK accounting standards and tax regulations (HMRC)   - UAE VAT and financial compliance requirements
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Experience working with international companies or startups
• Familiarity with IFRS and multi-currency accounting
• Prior experience handling intercompany transactions
