Job Description

· Prepare and finalize financial statements in accordance with applicable IFRS standards

· Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

· Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and documentation

· Manage month-end and year-end closing activities

· Review and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions

· Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets

· Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax regulations

· Maintain effective internal controls and adhere to accounting policies

· Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits

· Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and reconciliations

· Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

· Analyze financial data and prepare management reports as required

· Support ERP accounting modules and ensure accurate system data

· Assist in inventory counts and stock reconciliations

· Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities in financial records

· Monitor and analyze production or project cost variances

· Support the Chief Accountant in monthly closings, year-end audits, and preparation of financial schedules
