Job Summary

Al Maimana Accounting & Bookkeeping is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant (Arabic Speaking) to join our growing accounting firm in Dubai.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in accounting firms, client bookkeeping, VAT filing, financial reporting, and audit support. The successful candidate will manage multiple client accounts, perform on-site accounting services, and ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.

We are looking for a professional who is analytical, client-focused, and capable of handling multiple assignments across different industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site accounting and bookkeeping services for assigned client portfolios
• Manage full-cycle accounting including general ledger, AP, AR, and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations
• Assist clients with Corporate Tax documentation and compliance
• Support audit engagements by preparing schedules and audit documentation
• Coordinate directly with clients to collect financial data and resolve accounting issues
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT laws, and regulatory requirements
• Identify discrepancies and recommend improvements to accounting systems and internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably within an accounting firm or consultancy
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
• Experience handling multiple clients and bookkeeping portfolios
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required
• UAE driving license is an advantage

Preferred Certifications:
ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent (or currently pursuing certification)
