Financial Aid Administrator

Designer Academy, powered by Haute Styles Week, is a professional fashion business development program designed to prepare emerging designers for retail, wholesale, and showroom placement. As we expand into a structured educational model, we are seeking a Financial Aid Administrator to support students in accessing funding, payment plans, and financial resources.

Position Overview

The Financial Aid Administrator will be responsible for managing student financial support systems, including payment plans, funding options, and compliance processes. This role is essential in helping students successfully enroll and complete the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide students through financial aid options, payment plans, and enrollment financing
• Develop and manage internal payment plan structures
• Assist in creating and maintaining financial aid policies and procedures
• Track student payments, balances, and funding status
• Coordinate with admissions and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with any applicable financial or educational regulations
• Provide ongoing support and communication to students regarding their accounts

Qualifications

• Experience in financial aid, student finance, accounting, or related field
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Experience with payment systems, invoicing, or bookkeeping
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Stripe, or similar platforms (preferred)
• Experience in education programs, training institutions, or startups (a plus)

Pay: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
