Position Summary
The Financial Analyst supports the financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes for the company. This role provides analysis and insight into cost management and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with company objectives. The Financial Analyst works collaboratively across the business to drive data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Job Duties
  • Establish and maintain accurate product costing, verifying master data and calculation methods.
  • Prepare production efficiency reports and analyze variances. Identify root cause and translate findings into actionable revisions.
  • Provide technical and practical support for monthly financial close, production-related settlements, journal entries, account analysis & reconciliation.
  • Work with value stream managers to review new standards and the impact on margin and inventory revaluation.
  • Assist in calculating inventory reserves and processing of subsequent write-offs.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, driving solutions and process improvements.
  • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory, labor, and overhead.
  • Provide insights into pricing, profitability, and margin analysis across product lines.
  • Provide product lifecycle costing by analyzing profitability across product models, SKUs, and accessories.
  • Conduct cost accounting and margin analysis by tracking manufacturing costs, raw materials, labor, and compliance-driven overhead.
  • Extract, validate, and analyze financial data from SAP and other reporting tools.
  • Support compliance with company policies, financial controls, and industry regulations.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field is required.

Experience Requirements
At least three years of financial analysis experience is required. Previous experience with SAP (FI/CO, reporting, cost analysis modules) is highly preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and forecasting, skills a must, along with the ability to interpret complex financial data to guide strategic decisions are required. Knowledge of standard costing and manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills.

Tools
  • Data Analytics and ERP Systems (SAP)—strong Excel (advanced), SAP and BI tools like Power BI.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools is a plus.

Working Conditions
Position is performed in a typical office environment. May be exposed to loud noises, toxic chemicals, and dangerous machinery when on the plant floor.
