Financial Analyst

Job Purpose

A highly skilled Financial Analyst responsible for supporting the finance team across:

• Budget variance analysis
• Bank reconciliation
• Fixed asset management
• Power BI updates
• Financial reporting
• Tax compliance
• Cash flow forecasting

The role also involves audit closure , external coordination , report preparation for management and committees, policy review , and process improvement .

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting, Reporting & Variance Analysis

• Perform detailed variance analysis, support closings, and prepare management reports.

1. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Management

• Handle monthly reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.

1. Fixed Asset Management

• Maintain fixed asset register, manage tagging, and ensure compliance.

1. Power BI & Data Analytics

• Update dashboards, support automation, and perform modeling.

1. Audit & Compliance

• Close audit findings, coordinate with auditors, and ensure policy compliance.

1. Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Support VAT, WHT, and Zakat processes; ensure compliance.

1. Strategic Support & Special Projects

• Assist in financial modeling, investment analysis, and cost optimization.

1. Policy Review & Process Improvement

• Review and improve financial policies and procedures.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Budget & Reporting:
• 100% timely reports; ≥98% variance accuracy.
• Bank & Cash Flow:
• Reconciliations within 3 business days; ≤5% forecast variance.
• Fixed Assets:
• Zero discrepancies; 100% on-time tagging.
• Power BI & Analytics:
• 100% timely updates; ≥2 automation improvements/quarter.
• Audit & Compliance:
• 100% audit closure; zero delays.
• Tax Compliance:
• 100% timely filings; zero penalties.
• Strategic & Process Improvements:
• ≥2 cost optimization and ≥3 process improvements/year.

Qualification and Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Certifications

Related Certificate for Financial Analysis (preferred)

Experience

1–3 years in financial analysis

Skills

ERP systems, advanced Excel, analytical/problem-solving, Power BI (plus)

Languages

Arabic and English
