We are looking for a high-performing professional with deep understanding of accounting, budgeting, financial modeling, and financial analysis. Responsible for developing budgets, consolidating financial statements, and preparing reports for management and external parties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Prepare annual budget for each entity and coordinate the annual budget process with senior leadership and support staff, reviewing short and long-range plan and ensuring the budget is in alignment with corporate initiatives and program-specific development plans

2. Collaborate with the accounting team on month-end close team and prepare the monthly consolidated financial statement for senior leadership

3. Create monthly, annual, or multi-year financial forecast for each entity on an “as needed” basis

4. Assist with compiling information for actuarial company or internal department necessary for the CMS bid process and for all audits and examinations

5. Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to management, explore opportunities and risks that affect profitability, growth, productivity, regulatory requirements to assist management with decision making

6. Lead new accounting system implementation project to replace QuickBooks

7. Accounting system assistance & formations of new accounting books and general ledger structure for new companies in the accounting system

8. Assist with preparation of monthly risk pool reports

9. Perform oversight of IPAs by obtaining and reviewing their financials.

10.Prepare regulatory filing reports.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent degree is required

CMS/IPA and managed care experience

· Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis is required

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY:

· Microsoft applications proficiency is mandatory

· QuickBooks proficiency is mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
